KHADIR FREENEY
Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
I am Khadir Freeney, a passionate commercial director and cinematographer committed to creating captivating stories that resonate deeply with audiences. My work is rooted in the belief that storytelling should not only entertain but also inspire, motivate, and influence others to express themselves creatively. As a Black creator, I am dedicated to telling our stories with authenticity, ensuring that diversity in media is represented the right way—grounded in truth and culture.
My journey into filmmaking has been unconventional. I didn't follow the traditional path of film school; instead, I learned through hands-on experiences and a relentless drive to master my craft. Recently, I've had the opportunity to work on major film sets, including as a camera assistant on the show Fight Night. This experience has been instrumental in honing my skills and pushing me to pursue excellence as a professional storyteller.
In my career, I've had the privilege of shooting and editing projects for brands like TikTok, as well as working with small local brands in Florida. My expertise lies in mastering the interview setup and B-roll style of filmmaking, which allows me to tell stories that are rooted in real, authentic experiences. My work is more than just visual—it’s an emotional journey that aims to connect deeply with viewers.
Through my lens, I strive to bring a unique perspective to every project, using my strengths as a Black creator to ensure that the stories I tell are not only visually compelling but also culturally significant. I am committed to using my platform to champion diversity, authenticity, and the rich tapestry of our stories.
